SPC believes in the development of young Namibians through
appropriate learning and training. To this effect, SPC, by directors
resolution, is committed to financially supporting students
from previously disadvantaged communities to
further their theoretical and practical skills in the
planning profession. When workload permits,
vacation work is offered to Namibian students,
providing practical training in the field of Town
and Regional Planning.
Since 2001 SPC has assisted previously
disadvantaged students with their studies
at University/Technikon Institutions and
has provided practical training to planning
students.
In addition to this assistance given, SPC has taken
responsibility for the education fees of orphaned
school children originating from previously disadvantaged
communities.
